If you're not, we're here to help make it right. Please review this policy before placing an order. By purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.
This policy applies to all items purchased through our website or other channels. Refund eligibility may vary based on the item type, condition, and any promotions or special circumstances.
## Eligibility for Refunds
- **General Eligibility**: Most items are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of delivery if they are unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition (with tags attached where applicable).
- **Damaged or Defective Items**: If an item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, you may return it for a full refund or replacement at no additional cost.
- **Wrong Item Received**: If you receive the wrong item, contact us for a free return and replacement.
- **Digital Products**: Downloads, streaming content, or digital codes are non-refundable once accessed or redeemed, unless defective.
- **Personalized or Custom Items**: These are non-refundable unless damaged or defective.
- **Sale or Clearance Items**: May be final sale and non-refundable; this will be noted on the product page.
- **Time Limits**: Requests must be made within 30 days of delivery for most items. Some categories (e.g., electronics) may have shorter windows, as specified on the product page.
We reserve the right to deny refunds for items that show signs of use, damage caused by the customer, or if the return does not meet our guidelines.
## Return Process
1. **Initiate a Return**: Log in to your AnimeSpot account, go to "Your Orders," select the item, and choose "Return or Replace Items." Provide a reason for the return.
2. **Print Shipping Label**: We'll email you a prepaid return shipping label (for eligible domestic returns). For international returns, you may need to cover shipping costs.
3. **Package the Item**: Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and tags.
4. **Ship It Back**: Drop off the package at the designated carrier location. Keep your tracking number.
5. **Inspection and Processing**: Once received, we'll inspect the item (typically within 2-3 business days) and process your refund or exchange.
Returns must be postmarked within 14 days of initiating the request. We recommend using tracked shipping for your protection.
## Refund Methods
- **Original Payment Method**: Refunds are issued to the original form of payment (e.g., credit card, PayPal) within 3-5 business days after processing.
- **Store Credit**: Optionally, you can choose AnimeSpot store credit, which is issued immediately upon processing.
- **Partial Refunds**: For items returned without original packaging or in used condition, we may issue a partial refund (up to 50% deduction).
- **Shipping Costs**: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. Return shipping is free for eligible items; otherwise, it's your responsibility.
Refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider.
## Exchanges
- If you'd like to exchange an item (e.g., for a different size or color), follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item.
- Exchanges are subject to availability. If the item is out of stock, we'll issue a refund instead.
## Exceptions and Special Cases
- **Hygiene Items**: Sealed items like apparel or accessories cannot be returned if opened.
- **Gift Cards**: Non-refundable.
- **Bulk or Wholesale Orders**: May have custom policies; contact us for details.
